and unfortunately, it's not the end i was hoping/praying for. i had a follow-up conversation with the manager here in the building about the potential arrangements i mentioned last week, and he told me that the management company isn't willing to make any sort of deal or arrangement. i checked my mail today and there were no checks there. i bought an instant lottery ticket today and didn't win anything, so there goes two of the ideas i came up with late tuesday night. (for the record, i was sober on tuesday night when i wrote that. extremely sleepy, but sober.)
barring a last-minute intervention or miracle, i fully expect the judge to allow the eviction to go forward when i go back to court tomorrow morning. my plan is to ask for at least 30 days to get out of here (and, y'know, figure out where i'm gonna go, etc.), so we'll see what happens with that. i'll try to post an update here before end of day tomorrow.
